Shower Body Installation
The shower body — the valve, mixing cartridge, and supply piping behind the wall — has to be positioned and pressure-tested before any tile or surround goes on, since it's nearly impossible to access afterward.

We install shower bodies and valves for new construction and full bathroom renovations, including pressure-balanced valves, thermostatic mixing valves, and multi-outlet systems feeding a rain head, handheld, and body sprays from a single control.
Correct rough-in depth, framing support, and pressure testing before the wall closes up are what separate a shower that works right for years from one that needs to be opened back up within months. We coordinate directly with your contractor or tile installer on timing.

Our Process
How It Works
Layout & valve selection
We confirm shower head, handheld, and body spray placement and select the right valve type.
Rough-in installation
The valve body and supply piping are set at the correct depth with proper framing support.
Pressure test
The system is pressure-tested before any wall surface goes on, catching issues while they're still easy to fix.
Trim & finish
Once tile or surround is complete, we install the trim, handle, and showerheads.

FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
A pressure-balanced valve prevents sudden temperature swings when other fixtures run; a thermostatic valve maintains a precise set temperature and typically costs more.
Yes, the rough-in and pressure test need to happen before tile goes up, so we coordinate scheduling directly with your contractor.
Yes, multi-outlet valve systems can feed several shower components from one control, which we size for adequate pressure and flow.
A leak discovered after tile is installed usually means cutting into the wall to fix it — pressure testing beforehand avoids that entirely.
Yes, shower body installation is commonly bundled with a full bathroom remodel, or can be scheduled as a standalone job.
